Lucoled NV has joined the Signify (formerly Philips) EnabLED LED Signage Licensing program.<\/p>\n
The \u2018Posterbox\u2019 application patent, which is intellectual property of Signify, \u00a0covers all installations where the single- or double-sided face is illuminated by narrow beam LED modules around the edges of the sign. This patent is part of the Enabled program and applies to all Lucoled EL products used as a kit, including power supplies.<\/p>\n
By joining the Enabled licensing program signmakers and end-users using Lucoled product kits do not have to pay 3% royalties to Signify on the sales price of their complete signage.<\/p>\n
Lucoled has covered these royalties for them on a component kit level already.<\/p>\n
